Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know that nodes n00-n07,n56-n63 have been wired into a 4×4 torus (4-ary 2-cube) with 2-lane bonded channels.

Also, I just heard from Bin that n48-n55 have been wired into a 8-node ring (8-ary 1-cube) with 4-lane bonded channels. n48-n55 also have hard drives installed for parallel filesystem tests.

The hardware router is in the final stages of integration and testing. Once it is stable, we’ll put instructions on the wiki (http://www.rcs.uncc.edu/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) on how to interface hardware cores and use MPI.

I’ll let you know when n18-n47 into a 3×3x3 (3-ary, 3-cube).
